It will read your serial key from the registry and just work.

That means that if you already have the GOG or Steam version installed, you can download any Retail version of Mount & Blade: Warband from ftp//ftp.taleworldscom and install it to a different folder on your computer. If you have the GOG version of Mount & Blade: Warband, it should work like the Steam version and write your serial key to the registry. I do not have the GOG version, so do not ask. I may be able to modify it to work with that version. Test it and let me know if it doesn't work with the version you want to use it with.

I know some people like to use previous versions for Mod compatibility. I know they linger a little after that so they may also be respawning units but there definitely seems to be method to it so I don’t think it’s a bug.Now updated for v1.168 (Should work with some other versions. Once they have been beat in combat they are dropped to 10% hp, so if they don’t regain that before being released they need time to regenerate to 100%. This could mean the Marshall can’t gather enough troops to stage a counterattack to a siege or something like that.Īs for the indisposed lords, that I’m sure is intentional. It also might be that most of the lords need to tend to their own business if you’re getting attacked on multiple fronts. I’m not sure if what you’re experiencing is what I’m talking about though so you may want to ask the lords “what is the realm doing.” If you notice anything weird you might want to report that to the diplomacy mod creator via their moddb or steam workshop page. If a kingdoms Marshall takes too long to assemble the troops Lords may wonder off to tend to their own business. I have heard that, if a lord or king is captured, he might remain 'indisposed' even when and/or after he is released, is this a problem? I could change the indisposed value in the SaveGameEditor, but I can't find it the SaveGameEditor menu.

I noticed this most with the Custom Troop Tree submod for Diplomacy And it was only recently I saw the armies just standing around doing nothing to protect the cities. I lost ground when I was with the Swadians, the Khergits, and now the Vaegirs.

I noticed that most of my lords didn't turn up for me when I 'Started a Campaign', but I thought nothing of it, since I was unpopular with them anyway. But when another Kingdom's Marshall starts a campaign- he has no problem, his gathers most of their kingdoms lords and starts besieging castles and cities.Īs a result of this, your Kingdom (or the one you are sworn to) loses regions pretty fast.
